Scotland's Wildest Locations
About
The rapid increase of human interference in wild environments, especially over the last couple of centuries, has made it more difficult for humans and non-human animals to experience true wilderness. The Scottish Planning Policy has defined many locations in Scotland as wilderness. This project exposes these wild places and lets us decide for ourselves. Are these locations still wild? Have they been influenced by humans? Could they even be described as wilderness?
